Thanks for sharing your awesome day with me Mike and Jennifer.
This is my favorite ring shot so far. I love how the diamond just pops from the photo.
I try not to over use selective color effects because I feel they can start to look cheesy, but this red rose in vase with white roses was just too perfect for the look for me to pass it up. It is probably one of the best selective color shots I have ever done.
My 2nd shooter Tim Austin took the shot below and I LOVE it. Tim is one of the best things that has ever happened to my wedding photography.
I just love this shot of Jennifer’s grandmother. The look on Jennifer’s face shows her fun personality so well. Her many different smiles made the day so much fun to photograph.
You may remember Kali and Steven from the engagement photos I shot for them at the Stone Arch Bridge. They made it official on 08/08/08. Along with the normal wedding shoots, they gave me a couples of hours of their time to do some more shots with them by the bridge. A note of interest to photo geeks, I got to try out my new toys. It was really nice to have plenty of time to do the photos and just hang out with Kali and Steven. The time allowed them to relax in front of the camera and let me really get some honest smiles form them.
Congrats guys. Thanks for sharing your day.
Less talk, more photos…
(Note for those wondering, they are looking at the new 35W bridge that is almost finished. Like many, it was a stressful day for them when it collapsed as they were not sure if the other was on it.)
(Steven proposed at the Guthrie, so it was fun to get some shots in and around it.)
(Yummy macro shot of the rings.)
