I haven’t died, nor has my photography. It just hasn’t been making it to the blog recently. The blame can be laid squarely on my wife and me buying a house, and fixing it up.

During my time away from the blog I did some photos. Lots actually. If you head over to the galleries section you can see them. If you would rather stay in blog land you are welcome to enjoy some highlights from Pat and Tina’s engagement photos below. I know I had a blast taking them, and despite what Pat and Tina might tell you, they are very, VERY photogenic.

I met up with Throy and Calie at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for their engagement photos. The great fall colors combined with their happy smiles made for some great shots. I am really looking forward to their wedding next year.

I love the fall colors in Minnesota. I love working with couples that want to have a good time on their wedding day. I love taking photos of people who enjoy smiling. Dave and Misty’s wedding had all three of those elements making it very fun to be a part of. They gave me lots of time to get some shots with the fall colors and I did my best to take advantage of it. For those wondering they got married at Breezy Point Resort in northern MN.

A note on the ring shot below: both rings are Misty’s. The top ring is her wedding ring and the bottom ring is one she received from her grandmother.
(Just wanted to make sure no was wondering what kind of bling Dave was into.)

I loved Misty’s choice in flowers. They really had a unique look to them compared to what I see at most weddings and went great with the fall colors.
