Welcome to Eric Koch Photo’s blog, currently called the “Photo Log Blog.” As the name states I intend this to be more of a log of my photography than a written blog (if that makes any sense), but who knows what it will turn out to be. I also hope it will give people a little bit more of an understanding of, well, me and my personality. You can’t judge a book by it’s cover, but you can learn a little more about it.
MAJOR DISCLAIMER:
I am not a writer. I am a photographer. My blog and writing could will most likely will reflect that. You May finds a typo nor to.
It’s that time of year, time to order Christmas cards (holiday cards, season greetings cards, New Years cards if you are running late…). All of our cards are very high quality press printed paper (not the 4×8 Walmart specials that say Kodak on the back) and will do an excellent job showing off your awesome photos (and we both know your photos are awesome).
You can order the cards through the galleries section (let me know if your event is no longer listed). A proof of your card will be emailed to you before the order is sent to the lab for production.

I met up with Throy and Calie at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for their engagement photos. The great fall colors combined with their happy smiles made for some great shots. I am really looking forward to their wedding next year.
Awesome couple. Awesome locations. Awesome weather (the fall colors were PERFECT). = Awesome good time being a wedding photographer. I love my job and Jordan, Amanda, their friends and family reminded me way. I had a blast shooting their wedding and just spending the day with them. (The fact that I love how the photos turned out helps too…)
Did I mention they are an awesome couple? Thanks again guys for your smiles and your dedication to allowing me to get some, well, awesome shots of you day.
I promise no more “awesomes” for the rest of this entry.
Amanda looked spectacular (see above) and had a contagious smile that my camera loved (see below).
This photo below might be my favorite posed shot of the day (or maybe the first one, I love them both and can’t decide).
